Welcome to The Butler’s Pantry
The Butler’s Pantry is a gourmet take-away boutique nestled in the heart of Cotswold Village, offering thoughtfully prepared foods made fresh in-house every day. Our menu includes comforting casseroles, seasonal entrées and sides, layer cakes, pies, cookies, freshly baked breads, house-made ice cream and sorbet, and ready-to-share appetizers—alongside a curated selection of beer and wine.
Guests are invited to linger and enjoy indoor seating or our year-round outdoor courtyard, where you can savor an appetizer and a bottle of wine at retail pricing, not restaurant markup. Open seven days a week, The Butler’s Pantry has become a neighborhood favorite and has been nominated multiple times for Charlotte’s Best, as well as recognized with UPPY Award nominations for our commitment to quality and community.

Our Story
Owner Andrew King is no stranger to Cotswold. He grew up just four blocks away in a Victorian farmhouse—still home to his mother today—and spent his childhood walking to Cotswold Mall. After decades in the culinary and hospitality world, Andrew is thrilled to return to his roots.
His career includes owning High Cotton Catering, partnering in Hotel Charlotte Restaurant, serving as Executive Chef and General Manager at The Lodge on Lake Lure, and creating the award-winning Community Table Bistro as its original Food Service Director. For much of the last decade, he worked in private equity while continuing to stay deeply connected to the Charlotte community.
A passionate volunteer and believer in giving back, Andrew has served on 17 boards of trustees across Charlotte and the surrounding counties. Today, he brings together Charlotte’s best culinary professionals to do what he loves most—making great food at a fair price, right here in the neighborhood where his story began.
